A new locomotion

You know what we should really be concentrating on, instead of biofuel and 'new' oil...
enhancing self-propelled locomotion.

Think about it. Imagine a reclining bicycle that went like 30 miles per hour and was incredibly easy to pedal. Or some type of really safe cadillacy speedy scooter. All it would really take is some nifty engineering.

The pluses...help the obesity problem, less traffic, make people happier because they are outside, revitalize Detroit's manufacturing business, usher in a new economy and American society, and, oh yeah, we are the most sustainable source of energy we have. And cheap. Damn are we cheap.

Hell, I would buy one. And I don't mean give up our cars. I am not insane. These are not a replacement rather they are an alternative. If you're hauling a couple of kids and some groceries, by all means take the minivan/SUV. I would. But, if you're just going 10 miles o work (and most of us do) in the morning, then take the alternative. The key is the easy part. It needs to require little effort it is to be practical for the morning. I figure it needs to be about the same amount of effort as a gentle stroll. And storage. We need to have storage! This is only practical if people do not have to laug all their crap themselves. I know everyone won't be on board but it would be great.

And it fixes so many things.

Who said it first? If anyone read this you would have been comparing Obama to Lincoln since, I don't know, when Richardson was still in the race.

Yep, heard it hear first. And I am just grateful that others are starting to pick up on it.

Pennsylvania

Barack, I hope you are reading this because I have valuable advice for you.

Go to Pennsylvania. Go now. Take this lull, this brief period when you and Hillary are slightly out of the news and go to Pennsylvania. Go and talk to everyone you can. Go to town halls, rotary meetings, schools, and meet as many people as you possibly can. Stay out of the bad press and just meet the people. That is how you win Pennsylvania.

And if you in Pennsylvania Hillary will be shut up and this horrid mudslinging can end.

And then maybe we won't have to have another Republican as president.

No He Should Not Resign

The governor of New York has slept with a prostitute.

And now people are calling for his resignation because he has broken the law.

I think the governor should stay in office and I will tell you why. It should be in protest

"I feel that my crime is minimal when compared with the crimes of others in places of power greater than mine. I feel that I am being targeted unfairly. And I will remain in office until all abusers of governmenal authority are also prosecuted."

Governor, feel free to use my words. I will supply more if you like.

There is Hope In the World

Christian has won Project Runway! The right man has won. There is hope in the world.

How is this possible? What is wrong with us?

I don't have much time because I am at work and about to get to go home but I need to say this...

How is it possible that we impeach a man for getting a blow job yet we allow a man to be President who repeatedly violates the Constitution, lies to the American public, and disregards all laws. Now he's even denying that gas prices will continue to go up.

And if they do we should just drill for more oil.

Can someone please shoot him before there is no America left? Because I would like there to be a healthy land for my children and grandchildren and at this rate, hell, we'll be lucky if we're all here to see next January.
